Sanskrit (Shloka): “Yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata, abhyutthānam adharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛjāmy aham.” Yadā yadā hi dharmasya – Whenever and wherever dharma (righteousness, duty, moral order) declines... glānir bhavati bhārata – ...there is decay, deterioration, or weakening... Abhyutthānam adharmasya – ...and adharma (unrighteousness, injustice, chaos) rises... Ttadātmānaṁ sṛjāmy aham.– ...then I (Krishna, representing God/Divine) incarnate myself.
